Shawn’s professional experience includes serving as an Elections Official at the Hamilton County Board of Elections, Legislative Director for a Cincinnati City Council Member, Speakers’ Bureau Coordinator at the American Red Cross, Program Coordinator at the Make-A-Wish Foundation and youth development at the YMCA. In addition, Shawn has also served as a political consultant in several Cincinnati elections, including several council and issue campaigns. Baker currently serves on the Cincinnati NAACP Branch Executive Committee.
Baker has been nominated for Activist of the Year several times in CityBeat’s "Best Of" Edition. In 2015, Shawn received the Cincinnati Business Courier's Forty Under 40 award. He has previously volunteered in the Cincinnati community with Cincinnati Pride, Charter Committee of Greater Cincinnati, CincyPAC, Visions Community Services, Jewish Family Service, Human Rights Campaign, and Cincinnati Youth Collaborative.
Shawn's focus is to represent buyers, sellers, landlords and renters in and around the tri-state area. He is a Comey & Shepherd sales award winner.
